Raytheon BBN Technologies develops security protocol standards for use in both the public and Department of Defense (DoD) Internet communities. We are the editors of the core IP security (IPsec) standards developed in the Internet Engineering Task Force, and major contributors to DoD standards for the next-generation of programmable cryptographic devices that will be used to protect classified data. Raytheon BBN Technologies staff have led the development of public key infrastructure (PKI) standards and designed and implemented protocols to secure Internet routing.
